Delete your SwipeMyJob account
You can delete your SwipeMyJob account and its data at any time, in the app or by email.
Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open SwipeMyJob on your iPhone or Android phone and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away. If an application is being submitted at that moment, the app asks you to try again once it finishes.
Request deletion by email
Can't open the app? Email support@swipemyjob.app from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm it's you, delete the account within 30 days, and reply when it's done.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in identity
- Your profile: name, contact details, location, work authorization, education, experience, links and job preferences
- Your resumes
- Your saved answers and AI drafts
- Your application history, statuses and receipts
- Your swipe balance and purchase records held by us
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups: encrypted database backups are removed automatically within 35 days.
- Diagnostics: screenshots of filled application forms are deleted within 30 days. Crash reports contain no account identity.
- Applications already sent: employers keep the applications they received under their own privacy policies. We can't recall them; contact the employer directly.
- Subscriptions: deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in your phone's subscription settings. Apple keeps its own purchase records.
